Community Open Day thanks
Thank you to the 80 community members for sharing your ideas, feedback and stories on Saturday 4 November at the Cockburn Wetlands Centre.
We listened and learned how you would like to be involved in the rehabilitation project, how you would like to receive project updates and how ongoing community engagement will be implemented.
You told us you are eager to be directly involved in planting, weeding, monitoring, ongoing community engagement, citizen science and community art. It is clear that a significant section of the community have a deep connection to this Corridor. Almost all participants want to see greater certainty of land tenure and have the area de-listed as a road reserve as soon as possible.
