Allowing plants to thrive
By removing a large amount of rubbish from the Corridor, the local flora and fauna can thrive.
On Saturday 5 May 2018, the Cockburn Community Wildlife Corridor Bushcare Group and the Friends of Coolbellup Bushland Group participated in a rubbish collection day with funding from Keep Australia Beautiful.
About 20 passionate individuals collected items ranging from building waste to abandoned televisions, plastic and metal car parts from land between North Lake Rd and Coolbellup Avenue.
Similar events are being planned for later in the year.
