New project manager appointed
If you have planted a tree in the City of Cockburn, no doubt you have met environmental officer Linda Metz and her green thumbs.
She has been appointed project manager for the Corridor rehabilitation from 13 August, taking over from interim manager Matthew Oswald.
Linda will guide the implementation of the 10-year rehabilitation plan.
Planting
An additional 10,000 plants were installed last week by SERCUL, west of the community planting day area near North Lake Road, Bibra Lake. This means this whole management zone from Progress Drive to North Lake Road is well on the path to recovery.
