Sixty community members came together on Saturday 8th June to plant 2000 native plants in the corridor.

Over the past two weeks school groups and community members have volunteered their time and energy to help restore vegetation and build biodiversity values within the corridor. To date over 5000 plants have been installed with more to come!
The planting program will occur over five locations through winter with an anticipated 39,000 plants installed. These plants include important species such as Banksia’s, Woody-pears and Marris.

If you’re looking to get your hands dirty and join in other planting events book in to the community planting event on Sunday 14th July 2019.
Thanks to everyone who has participated the planting events to date.
