On Saturday night (19/20/19) twenty community members got to experience the delight in hearing and seeing the wildlife that resides in the corridor and Bibra Lake on the wonderful ‘Bat night stalk’. Using bat detectors, kids tracked down the healthy bat population that lives in this part of the world and they were lucky enough to spot loads of spiders, possums and even a moaning frog!

Our flying bat friends help to control the midge and mosquito populations and are a vital part of our ecosystem. Bat boxes are installed in the Roe8 corridor and at Bibra lake to make sure that nights like these can happen for generations to come!
