Sadly, a resident Quenda (Isoodon obesulus) was recently found deceased in the corridor with signs of cat or fox attack. This species among many other natives are are at risk of predation by introduced species.
To help protect our native wildlife in the corridor, we will be undertaking feral fox and cat control in early June. On site signage and online communications will notify residents of this work. Cats will be checked for microchips and all traps closed between 5.30am and 7pm.
Please be sure to keep pet cats away from bushland areas and secured on your property.
