Belinda Cox, Kangeang/Bibblemum Nyungar woman (Yorga) was joined by locals in the Roe 8 Corridor to learn about her culture, the land and the medicinal and healing benefits it has to offer, both physically and mentally.
She introduced a wide variety of plant species and different benefits they can provide, including how to make natural deodorants, native infused oils and native herbal tea.
Bel explained that Nyungar people look at health in a holistic way, considering not just physical aspects, but also mental, spiritual, cultural and relationships. Balance between all aspects leading to good health.
