Build Pardalote nest boxes for the Roe 8 corridor
Join us for a family-friendly two hour workshop at the Bibra Lake Community Hall, where we will be building nest boxes for pardalotes. The spotted pardalote (Pardalotus punctatus) is one of the smallest of all Australian birds, roughly the size of a leaf!
These tiny feathered friends spend most of their time high up in the canopy of eucalypt trees, as they feed mostly on sap-sucking insects that live on leaves.

The nest boxes will be used to provide additional habitat for these tiny cratues in the Roe 8 corridor.
All tools and materials will be provided on the day. Please note that there will be a limit of 1 nest box per family and that all nest boxes will be installed across the Roe 8 corridor in suitable locations at a later date to supplement rehabilitation efforts.
We look forward to seeing you at this DIY event!
