Weed and vegetation management
- CCWC and KCB hand weeding is ongoing
- Grass selective treatment completed
- Treatment of woody weeds is ongoing, including Acacias, Geraldton Wax, Tagasaste, African Boxthorn, Olives, Kurrajong and Japanese Pepper
Land management and rehabilitation
- 15,000 seedlings planted in May/June
- Several fence repairs completed
- 3,000L tank installed as extra capacity for the Cockitrough
- Feral animal control completed (bees, rabbits, cats and foxes)
- Watering of seedlings has commenced
- Firebreaks slashed for fire mitigation
- All Native bee hotels have been occupied, one has over 20 nests
- Mature Marri planted in Karak zone
