
Cockburn Community Wildlife Corridor do fortnightly weeding sessions on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 8 to 10am in ‘S7’, on the SW corner of Stock Road and Forrest Road (Hamilton Hill). This beautiful Tuart woodland is a wildflower wonderland, with regular visits from Ngoolark (Carnaby’s Cockatoos). The best way to get involved is to sign up to their enewsletter via the website or by emailing them at mailcockburnwild@gmail.com. You can even just turn up at S7 at 8am on the day, sign in, get involved and added to their list of bushcarers (wear closed shoes and bring gloves and water, weeding tools supplied).

Karak Cooby Bushcarers do fortnightly activities on the first and third Sunday of each month between April and November. They work in the diverse Woody Pear woodland along Malvolio Road, Coolbellup. Commune with nature to the sounds of Karak (Forest Red-tailed Cockatoos). The best way to get involved is to follow their Facebook page.

Biyara Bush Bandicoots was established in July 2025. They are custodians of the Sebastian Crescent bushland in Coolbellup. This 8 hectare area is named after Banksia attenuata, the Candle Banksia. This Jarrah-Banksia woodland is beautiful and highly diverse. BBB meet on the first and third Saturday of most months, check their Facebook page for updates.
