Set up and ready to go!

We are all set up and ready to go for today’s Hands Healing the Land Boodja Moort Kaardijin Community Science Conference.

We are in for a jam-packed day and over 20 speakers will be sharing their stories, experiences and research with community members, students and landcare professionals.

Whadjuk/Ballardong man Oral McGuire will give an insight into bridging the divide between ‘mainstream’ and Aboriginal communities when looking after the land, Felicity Bradshaw will be sharing her experience of participating in a two-way science program for Aboriginal desert schools and Associate Professor Rachel Standish will talk on student-led research projects which are providing data to monitor Roe 8 recovery.

See you in a little while at the Keiran McNamara Conservation Science Centre at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions in Kensington!
