A group of people joined Belinda Cox, a Kangeang/Biblemen Noongar woman (Yorga) from Djirrily Dreaming. Experiencing booja (land) through Aboriginal eyes, and learning about bush plants, medicines and their ancient healing properties.
Belinda guided locals on a Noongar journey, walking through the corridor while learning about Aboriginal culture. She discussed the hundreds of language types across Australia, skills taught to kids from a young age and different uses for native plants and animals.
We also got a tasty treat at the end made from local and native produce prepared by Belinda and her family.
