Monitoring for the future

PURSAC members from Murdoch University and Western Australian Biodiversity and Science Institute (WABSI) meet with Rehabilitating Roe 8 Project Manager last week to agree to on-going monitoring efforts within the corridor.

Dr.Rachel Standish (Murdoch University) and Dr.Guy Boggs (WABSI) both members of the Perth Urban Restoration Advisory Committee (PURSAC) since it’s inception, have been involved in promoting science opportunities and the initial vegetation monitoring within the corridor.

Recognising this involvement it was agreed that Murdoch University will continue it’s role in undertaking vegetation monitoring in key locations throughout the site.

Additional monitoring will also be conducted as part of the rehabilitation works.
