Get involved in citizen science: bird surveying!

Do you like birdwatching? Whether you’re an experienced ‘twitcher’ or simply have a keen interest in our feathered friends, you can help to collect valuable data on birdlife in the corridor.

We are planning to run a citizen science project in collaboration with BirdLife Western Australia, where people can record which birds are frequenting the corridor by carrying out 20-minute surveys across different sites and entering their data into the Birdata App.

Formulation of the project is currently under way. Once the survey plots have been established, a kick-off event will be held in spring. If you are interested in joining the project, either by attending a one-off guided bird survey or by becoming a custodian of one of the plots in the corridor, please contact us via the form below and we will get in touch with you closer to the date.

Complete the form below, so we know how to get in touch with you regarding the project.
