A Path Network Plan for the Rehabilitating Roe 8 corridor has been developed in close collaboration with the community over the last year. This plan will further enable passive recreational use and provide the community spaces for the enjoyment of significant biological diversity and cultural education.
As part of the implementation of the plan, the eastern section of the existing central sandy track between North Lake Road and Coolbellup Avenue will be formalised into a narrow limestone walk path. This path will connect with the existing, wide limestone tracks around the perimeter.
Works are expected to be carried out in late January 2022 and will be carried out by City of Cockburn approved contractors.
